HrTech startup: Jobsora
- Can you tell us about yourself and your role?
Hello, I am Valentyn Peltek. I am the CEO and Co-Founder of Jobsora.
- When was Jobsora founded?
Jobsora was founded in 2019.
- Give us a brief introduction to your company and its mission
Jobsora.com is an all-inclusive online job search platform connecting job seekers with potential employers. Our platform provides a comprehensive and easy-to-use resource for discovering employment opportunities.
As of 2024, Jobsora operates in more than 36+ countries and 4 continents with 20 million candidates monthly.
- For employers, Jobsora is the go-to partner for driving website traffic and targeting the right audience.
- For job seekers, Jobsora offers a personalized job search experience.
With a focus on improving efficiency, personalization, and accessibility, Jobsora aims to shift the job search process, minimizing the time and effort traditionally required.
What is your company's North Star metric?
At Jobsora, we have 3 types of North Star metrics.
- Successful job matching — when our candidate users land jobs through our platform.
- The conversion rate of our partners (clients) — we carefully monitor the quality of traffic coming from us to our recruiter partners to ensure they get high results in their efforts. This recipe is an absolute win-win.
- Our team's satisfaction — at Jobsora, we believe keeping our team members motivated, valued, and happy is crucial for business development and common growth.
- What are the three business KPIs that are important for Jobsora?
At Jobsora, we are balancing between the customer’s needs and user’s needs. This is our number 1 priority. We have more than just three KPIs, but if we highlight the core three, it would be Customer Retention Rate (CRR), User Engagement Rate, and Revenue. - How did your company get started, and what inspired its creation?
Since I strongly believe in the importance of work in every person's life, I was inspired to create a job industry business.
Thanks to our technology, we help our user job seekers find skill-matching jobs, minimizing the time and effort traditionally required.
The pain point of job seekers has been my biggest inspiration as a co-founder. And I have never regretted this decision.
- How do you AI-power Jobsora as a job search engine?
At Jobsora, we leverage a variety of AI-powered techniques to optimize result rankings and enhance personalization. Our primary objective is to drive high-quality traffic, specifically targeting an employer's audience. We collaborate with a diverse pool of partners, including job boards, programmatic platforms, and staffing firms, each with distinct goals in traffic acquisition.
Our proprietary technology, detailed in our patent "Ontological Systems and Variants of Its Use," outlines the methods we employ at Jobsora.com.
By harnessing advanced AI capabilities, we ensure that both recruiters and job seekers benefit from a highly efficient, targeted, and personalized job search experience.
- What is your strategic approach to AI technology?
We believe in the power of integrating external AI into job site operations. We also believe in the power and affordability that these external AI tools bring to the table.
These tools allow all job players to compete without investing in separate technical teams of Machine Learning that have been engaged in these improvements before.
By leveraging AI players like ChatGPT, we enable all stakeholders in the job market to compete effectively without investing pressure in developing proprietary models or maintaining dedicated technical teams.
This approach democratizes access to advanced AI capabilities, offering opportunities that were once exclusive to large players with deep-pocketed budgets.
- What were the biggest challenges in integrating AI into your products, and how did you address them?
The primary challenge we faced was related to the dynamism of the job market. We operate worldwide, and job roles and new skills change by the hour.
So, our main task here is a real-time update option for the ontology to reflect new job titles, emerging skills, and other industry changes.
- How does your company ensure its AI systems are unbiased and ethical?
We conduct regular audits to identify and address any issues, ensuring our AI systems remain unbiased and ethical.
- What feedback have you received from clients about your solution(s), and how has it shaped your product going forward?
We maintain constant communication with our clients to ensure we deliver quality.
Our partners are currently satisfied with the traffic we provide. 24/7 communication helps us identify areas for further improvement and adapt our solutions accordingly.
- What key milestones have your company achieved so far?
In early 2024, we successfully integrated the possibility of cooperation under the CPA model with partners and started actively developing in the US market.
- What is your vision for the future of HR tech and AI? and what are your company's upcoming goals?
I firmly believe that AI technologies will continue to help job aggregators streamline and organize vast amounts of data, with the quality of this feature only improving.
For job seekers, AI will optimize all steps, reducing the time from starting a job search to applying for the most relevant position to just a few seconds. In terms of traffic performance, AI will likely manage ad buying. It will also adjust ad placements and content based on real-time data to maximize impact. AI is predicted to be instrumental in monitoring traffic quality, ensuring job search engines deliver valuable services.
And there you have it! Keep an eye on Jobsora's social media pages for updates on the latest milestones and innovations in the job search experience.
