Sloneek is an all-in-one HR Information System (HRIS) designed to automate and enhance HR operations.

Our mission is simple: to free up HR professionals from time-consuming tasks so they can focus on their company's most valuable asset—its people.

By leveraging AI-driven processes, Sloneek transforms HR departments, empowering them to work smarter, not harder.

  1. What is your company's North Star metric?

Our North Star metric is Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR), which helps us track our steady growth and long-term sustainability.

  1. How did your company get started, and what inspired its creation?

Sloneek began with a simple idea: to digitize and simplify the overwhelming schedules that HR professionals face.

Our founders—Filip, an active coder, and Milan, with a background in marketing and HR consulting—were closely connected to the challenges of HR.

Along with a third co-founder, who contributed to product management, they created Sloneek to address these pain points.

Though the third co-founder is no longer with the company, the mission remains the same: to streamline HR processes.

  1. What HR solutions does your company offer, and how do you AI-power these solutions?

Sloneek is an AI-powered HRIS that offers a comprehensive suite of solutions, including attendance management, onboarding, talent identification, and employee engagement tracking.

Through the integration of AI, we automate complex HR tasks such as analyzing charts and reports, streamlining new employee onboarding, and processing satisfaction data.

By using AI to handle these time-consuming tasks, HR professionals can concentrate on what matters most—managing and nurturing their teams. Our system significantly reduces human error and increases efficiency, making HR departments more productive.

  1. Please provide key dates in your company's journey.
  • 2017: Initial launch of Sloneek, focusing on absence and attendance management, marking our entry into the HR tech space.
  • 2022: Secured our first pre-seed investment of 348,000 EUR from Vision Ventures.
  • 2023: Raised 850,000 EUR in a seed round from Presto Ventures to fuel further development.
  • 2024: Shifted to an AI-first vision, integrating OpenAI technology and raising 3.6 million EUR from Purple Ventures and Future Venture Capital Fund. We also expanded into Italy and removed the elephant from our logo as part of a global rebranding effort.
  1. How does your company ensure its AI systems are unbiased and ethical?

We are committed to strict legal and compliance guidelines to ensure our AI systems are unbiased and ethical.

We aim to ensure that AI is an enabler of fair and accurate HR practices, not a source of bias.

  1. What feedback have you received from clients about your solution(s), and how has it shaped your product going forward?

Many of our clients initially managed their HR processes using outdated methods like spreadsheets and paper forms. With Sloneek, they’ve transitioned to more efficient digital processes.

For instance, managers can now approve vacation requests remotely, and employees have instant access to their vacation balances via mobile devices.

At companies like Sprinx, our platform has halved the time it takes to complete attendance reports, and at Carvago, we streamlined onboarding during a rapid expansion.

Čedok, the largest Czech travel agency, benefited from faster contract approval and signature processes, which previously required physical document transportation between branches.

  1. Can you share a success story that highlights the impact of your technology on a client?
  • At Sprinx, Sloneek’s implementation reduced the time HR managers spent on attendance reporting by half. This significant improvement in efficiency freed up time for strategic initiatives.
  • At Carvago, our platform was instrumental in managing onboarding during a phase of rapid hiring, ensuring a seamless and organized process.
  1. What is your vision for the future of HR tech and AI, and what are your company's upcoming goals?

Our vision is to lead the HR tech industry into an AI-first future, where automation and intelligent insights become the norm.

We're focusing on expanding our presence across Europe, starting with Italy, while continuing to innovate and refine our AI-powered solutions to meet the evolving needs of global HR teams.

  1. What key milestones has your company achieved so far?

Key milestones include raising 348,000 EUR in 2022, securing a seed investment of 850,000 EUR in 2023, and raising 3.6 million EUR in 2024 to accelerate growth and expand into international markets.

We’ve achieved a 3.1x year-over-year growth, demonstrating the strong demand for AI-driven HR solutions like Sloneek.
